Happy Tax Day!

Ok, for most it's not a happy tax day, but if you haven't done your taxes yet-file an extension. What the hell took you so long to do so anyway??? AYE! Lots of specials around because of tax day-I heard PF Changs is taking 10 or 20% off meals, Cinnabon is giving away free something or others, Arby's has Free value fries..and so on...

• This was the first morning I didn't drink coffee. i'm not cutting coffee out of my life, but i'm also not going to drink it first thing. I made my yummy smoothie and am enjoying it. It lasts for a couple of hours and then i eat lunch. If i feel like I need coffee later I'll grab some of the wannabe stuff they serve here. 
• Hot on Hautelook-I think the best deal on there today is Groove-Sandals, wedges, slip ons, etc. 17-24 bucks...not bad. 
• Ideal on Ideeli-Hair Essentials-i love hair stuff and when it's a good price it's even better!
• Oh yay I get to go to the dentist today. woop woop. I love cleanings but hate when they poke around with their mini stabbing utensil and check the depthness of the gums or whatever they do. I am sure they find joy in causing people pain...Ok Ok, I am not so bad at the dentist. I love cleanings, I just hate when they interrupt with work. You see, I found out YESTERDAY that they no longer have 5pm appts, which my wonderful little reminder postcard said.  They called yesterday and made the appointment an hour earlier without giving me much of an option. Grr. Oh well, I can't miss my cleanings.

•  I feel really calm so far today. No coffee in my system. A little more relaxed even though i have pain in my neck and shoulder today. Still drinking my smoothie. yum...
• I need to get blood drawn. I went yesterday at lunch but there were too many people waiting. I went this morning and once again, too many people waiting. UGH. so frustrating. 
• Whats for dinner tonight??? hmmm, good question. I'm thinking some Indiany Curry thing...maybe...I need to get inspired...better go through my pinterest board.
• There was something i wanted to say, but I totally forgot what it was. Oh well i tried to make a paper airplane at work to hit my coworker with and it bombed. :( Here's an Ehow link, which I don't think will really help me...lol. Can't someone just make one for me???

I don't even know where to start today. New York trip is next month. I'm feeling mommy guilt with Bella, but I know she's going to be just fine because we're lucky to have people who love her around us.  I'm super excited to see my mom and grandma.I'm also excited about spring in NY. I've already mentioned needing sandals and the such, but i have so many pretty springtime dresses I just can't wait to wear them all!!! Not at the same time. We already have a game plan and I'm just so happy. Probably the only thing that can get me out of my funk right now. I am feeling so tired of this place. And when i say this place, i mean home, work, day to day routines...I need a break. A real break. A break that involves looking at sights, breathing the air, and soaking in the environment around me. I yearn to do that here, but there's really no one to do that with. Gotta find my explorer friends, who want to go out and about and see beautiful things and really take advantage of San Francisco.

• As I was leaving my house today I get a phone call from some strange number and I have to pick it up...Congratulate me, I have no officially been entered into the Publishers Sweepstakes. yay me?  I denied any subscriptions of any kind and hung up after they transferred me to the amazing rewards I get because i'm special. It would be nice to get a giant check....I probably won't win, but hey have your fingers crossed for me. 
• Hot stuff on Hautelook-Hurley bathings suits! only problem i have with this is the pricing. 16 bucks for tops and 24 bucks for bottoms...shrug..

• I'm gonna buy Yankee tickets. Still no straight answer from Gerry when he wants to go and bla bla bla...but since this is my team, I'm making the decision! ok purchased. :) whaa...we're going on Pet adoption day, but the night before there are FIREWORKS!!! i want to go to both...:( the seats i like are by third base....sigh...A-Rod and Jeter are just really close...what can i say?? lol. Well maybe i'll have time to save up for it. May 26th baby! May is my New York Month
• Because I'm not as funny as some other bloggers on the internet, i  have to make sure you get your daily dose of jollies elsewhere-check out for the love of writing Beware, if you're uncomfortable with words like vagina, anal bleaching and the such, don't bother clicking...if you are because you're my kind of people go read it. 
• So i'm listening to my ipod today. There's only so much radio station pop music and country music i can listen to. I've listened to the Civil Wars, Mumford and Sons and now Buffy the Vampire Slayers, Once more with feeling. Yes. I know...i'm a nerd. But you asked for it...

•  wow. One of the blogs I read...well two-bipolar Diva and Bipolar princess-turns out the diva's daughter (Princess) was robbed at gunpoint last night.  Such a sad and terrible thing to go through. Which reminds me to remind all of you-DO NOT DO YOUR BANKING AT NIGHT.  stay in well lit areas, get direct deposit.....so sad and it's really important to remind every reader out there to be aware of your environments. 
• I gotta tell you secret...i'm in love with the following Bloggess....i mean seriously. she puts up some amazing things. it's like going through a magazine of the  prettiest things in life...check her out Zsa Zsa.....
• Ok I promise that after New York I will no longer spend money. haha. right...i'm doing really well considering i bought tix to NY and bought yankee tix...Going to NY will definitely be a little expensive, but you only live once...so have fun while you're doing it. 
• ACK I almost forgot about the Voice. Can i say how impressed I was with Blake's team???? Eh Christina doesn't impress me too much-some of her singers do, but unfortunately I think there's more interesting talent on Blake's Team. Tonight we find out who is going home. boohoo..Did anyone think Christina looked different? I know she's not wearing that stupid black CD looking thing on her head, but there's something else...her hair is shorter...did she have lipo or a facelift or something??? anywhoo....

Lot's to think about.

Ever wonder what's right or what's wrong? What's up and what's down? What you're sure of or what you aren't? LIfe is the ever changing rollercoaster that dips and plunges into depths unknown and then shoot you into the sky with no restraints, so when you float down your gasping for breath. The last couple of days I've felt all over the place. How do you make decisions in life if you don't really know where you stand. How do you look at a situation and say "I'm done" even though things are fine, but the future may not be what you really want.  and what the hell is the future? The future hasn't happened yet; intentions aren't clear and maybe that's troubling. (love the vagueness don't you?) I hate uncertainty. There are things I know in life. We will all die. That I know. But before that what happens? Some of us aren't blessed to have children naturally, some of us aren't married, some of us don't have goals that occupy are lives.....so what do we do until then? Shop? expose our lives to other people with play by play posts about our stupid lives?  I don't know. All I know is I don't want to regret anything on my dying day, but if i'm already regretting some things because of confusion and delusion where does that leave me? Well let's get on with the normalities of this blog: Here ya go...

• 30 minute horseback riding on Livingsocial in Sunol for 30 bucks. Man, if I had a better back, shoulder, neck...etc...meaning if i wasn't all broken, i would totally do this. If you see this BUY it. 30 minutes on a horse is amazing.

• This whole Hunger Games crap is annoying. Who and WHY are people reading this stuff? I sort of understood Harry Potter books and I definitely understood the reason why people went to Lord of the Rings and read the Hobbit, but I guess I don't get books these days. I had no idea people were even reading anymore. Here I am, reading Edgar Allen Poe and Louisa May Alcott's, Flower Fables. I guess i don't get it. shrug.
• Virgin Atlantic has a two day sale and woohoo prices are nice! buy in the next couple of days and you score some deals.

Hey internet, what up?

Happy Monday. I'm pretty glad it's Monday. The weekend was relaxing and the such, but in a way a bit lonely. Gerry went up snowboarding and I truly just needed to have some time alone. still i missed the bonehead and am looking forward to a nice week and hopefully a good weekend coming up.

• I may buy tickets to NY today. :) Sorry jetblue, but Virgin airways or whatever they're called may beat you. The price is nice! 140 each flight per person. which comes out to 560! I didn't add the taxes and the such, but I can't pass this by. Just need to have a chat with my boss before i purchase. Still a bit nervous about leaving Bella behind, but I know she'll be in good hands. 
• I did not have Corned Beef this weekend. How sad is that. Funny how when you get upset with someone and decide you don't want to be around anyone that you decide that the one thing you wanted all week long you didn't need. I did buy myself a corned beef to make next week, because that's how i roll. :)
• ok...gonna buy these tix. What sucks is that we have to go to SFO. I don't normally fly there, I'm an Oakland girl because the airport is so quiet. hehehe. oh well, some beggers can't be winners, but whatever the tix are bought!!! NY I'll see you in May!!!!
• Ok, so i've been waiting for something like this to happen, Room Service. They're in the Sunset district in SF. They deliver Alcohol, cereal, icecream and even pepto bismol...why this wasn't around when i went to SF state is beyond me. sigh. maybe this will lower the DUI rates in the area. Not saying they're high or anything, but awesome idea! Check out the Thrillist so that you can also be in on the new hip shit in town! 
• Nothing really catching my eye on the shopping front which is good news for you and me...oh wait, i already spend some money today, no wonder everything looks expensive!!!!

• I played with my hair this weekend and learned a couple of new styles. One is the rosie the riveter bandana hair thing which I was felt stupid after watching it on youtube because it's so simple. 

There are a lot of fun videos too. I usually  have no patience with my hair but once you watch the video and try it (my hair don't tease too well) it's not so hard! enjoy.
