I woke up to the sounds of Bella puking foamy stuff on the carpet. She then wanted to go potty, so I had to wake up a few minutes earlier and start my day.  She's fine, by the way and my carpet will need to be cleaned during my lunch break, because my carpet cleaner is LOUD and i do have some respect for our neighbors in the AM.

Ribs...still salivating and hoping for Ribs....slow cooked....yummy and  melt in your mouth ribs.... So how many of you want ribs now?

ok now i'm just being silly....So I figure the following things make me proud to be an American and also thankful we live here. Here you go:

So many states and counties in this country are turning over their ridiculous BSL laws. That makes me proud to be an American, right now...I mean if they were trying to make them illegal than I'd be fucking mad.

I just said Fuck...that's my right. Thank you for Freedom of Speech, even though it seems that too many ideas and thoughts get censored...but whatever...I said "fuck" so deal with it. I still think we have it better than other countries. I said something that some women can't even say in other nations..

As a woman i think i'm mostly proud of my freedom to be "equal to a man" (a lot of people may argue with this, but where I'm at I'm pretty good).  I can own property. I can vote. I can by a car.I can rent my own apartment. I can do anything. I can pee standing up, which isn't the most comfortable feeling in the world, but still. I know I'm a human being and a man will not make me feel lesser than them.  I thank the U.S. for that. I thank them, because I grew up with that knowledge and core idea. There was never any question.

In summation, I'm thankful for ribs, photographers like Martin Patten who can get such great photos of squirrels, sleeping in, paid days off, pitbulls and the counties and states who are finally waking the fuck up, my freedom of speech, the word fuck and gender equality.

First Full week, let's start this bitch.

Man....seems like forever ago when i actually worked a full week. I think it's been over a month. super sad face inserted here. I like three day weekends. i like sleep. feels good.
Anyway....

• Livingsocial has a great deal for the bay area. $125 for two for a whale watching tour to the Farallons. 8 hours and who knows what you'll see. I want to do this. I want to see a whale. 

• I like this story. I love to read about athletes in love with the pit bull breed and fighting a cause or standing up for them. Warms my heart.
• Went shooting this weekend. Actually had a lot of fun. I've done it before and I always forget how competitive it is. I think i am responsible for shooting the wire that held up all the targets.  I really need to learn how to shoot better. I did get very close the bullseye, but not close enough. lol. still it was fun and I want to get better. 
• Went to the movies this weekend, wasted Gerry's money on The Devil inside. Total Blair Witch wannabe but with exorcisms. How many times are we going to see stuff like this. Mockumentaries....boo. I didn't even know it until we sat down. We went with a couple of friends and i assumed everyone did their homework. Oh and i got the crappy bottom of the barrel popcorn. hmmph.
• drug of the day is zoloft.
• Instead of phones in the office we should replace them with cups and string. that would be cool.i can hear everything people are saying when they call each other, so why call? Why not either get up and walk over or whisper into a cup so no one can hear what they're saying. hehehe. 
• The cupboard is getting barer by the day. So I have to be more adventurous with my meals. I decided last night to make a chicken shepherd's pie. I cooked the chicken in cream of chicken soup, because i randomly had it in my pantry. A layer of mashed potatoes, creamy chicken, veggies and pie pastry voila, yumminess. :)
• Tonight's dinner will  hopefully be a nicely defrosted pork a la italiano...which means I will  make it all italiany. hahaha. 
• I love my tablet. I spend a lot of time with it. Last night though, our fun friends asked to play a boardgame and I got a break from it and had some human interaction, which of course I'd rather have. We played a game called Logo. Pretty self explanatory-a game about logos. 

• Downloaded an app for weight loss and exercise tracking on day 4 and i've lost a lb. me like.

I had to really think about a title this morning. I kept thinking "wish I could go back to sleep" or "what's wrong with 9:30 am nap time?" I'm always sleepy. That's the problem with writing a blog in the morning, you always wish you were in bed. I apologize for the repetitive desire to be sleeping.

• ONE WHOLE FRIGGIN WEEK. I actually haven't bought a pack of smokes in a week. The first day I smoked 3 cigarettes. Second day-one, third day-one, 4th day-one, 5th day 1, 6th day 1/2, 7th day 1/2. Now I am pretty sure i can go without. I've weaned myself off. I pray I can just go a day. Miraculously I can actually go most of the day without really going crazy. I'm giving myself a medal for one week...

Maybe this will help keep me motivated. One week of weaning myself off nicotine done. Let's go on to week two!!!

• So I quit smoking, yet I don't see any extra cash anywhere. I should have about 24 bucks laying around somewhere right??? i was smoking 4 packs of cigarettes which total about 24 bucks. I really would like that money because I think i want to buy a livingsocial deal for 20 yoga classes for 20 bucks. sigh. i love livingsocial.I have been doing yoga at home-can i tell you, i'm so sore in my tummy area...ouch. BUT it would be pretty cool if i could go to a class. It's an hour long though...I can only do 15 minutes of yoga right now, hmm maybe i can add 15 more minutes tonight. I'll let you know...
• I want a tablet. like this one...

there are MANY reasons why i want one. #1 I can put this in my kitchen while I'm cooking and watch cooking videos or follow recipes. #2 I can watch a yoga video AND do yoga. #3 easy blogging. #4 while Gerry's on the laptop, i can play games on this! #4 I love to read and now i can buy ebooks and take this shnazzy thing everywhere...This is what I want for Xmas-of course I'm not sure if this is the best one or what, but someone needs to tell Gerry that it's on sale and I deserve it-I'm an awesome girlfriend. wow if you actually google American Pitbull Terrier, you get a lot of dogs that ARE NOT pitbull terriers. Sorry but I refuse to call those muscley short dogs APBT's.  these dogs sort of look like English Bulldogs swallowed a pitty. According to the UKC any OVERPRONOUNCED feature that compromises the natural ability of the dog is a serious fault. Most people totally agree with that, yet some idiots think it's a good idea, these people shouldn't be breeding animals.
