November already....

This year is going by too fast...I can't take it anymore...it's getting too close to the end of the year. Stop it and slow down a bit...except for work; that can go fast.

I showed people from work the picture above of my costume and they didn't believe it was me...hahahaha. I guess i dress like crap at work...or not slutty.

I am fighting a cold or something. I took my temperature yesterday at lunch and it was 95.7. Pretty damn low. I emailed my doc and she said i'm probably fighting something off. I shouldn't be at work...but hey tell the piles of paper in front of me to magically input themselves into my system. So if you ever find yourself with a low temperature, beware of all the stuff you read, sometimes you're just fighting an infection or a cold....My temp this morning was closer to 97.5 which is my normal. if i have a 98 something, i usually am too warm or getting sick.

somewhat of a positive dog story

I know that people may/do read this so i need you all to go to Rescue Ink's facebook page. If you're in New York they need help. These guys went back to their shelter even when they were told they couldn't cross the bridge. They are cleaning and need help. They need pet supplies. The building still stands yet there's no power. They NEED little things...every day stuffs...Please check out their fb page and find a way to help out. I have to look through my towels and stuff and see what i can send. But i will be helping!

Garage Sales, Fleet week and Bella Training.

I live in the Bay Area and this week it's Fleet week. Unfortunately for me, I live in the north bay and getting to the city to watch the Blue Angels is going to prove difficult. ITS NOT FAIR! I want to see them fly under and over the Golden Gate Bridge! I live here dammit! Parking will be ridiculous, tourists will be occupying every empty available space in the area and 101 will probably not move because rubberneckers will be trying to hang out on the bridge as long as possible to see the Blue Angels fly over them. :( BOOHOO.

Bella's training is tomorrow!!! I'm so excited. My pup is pretty good at listening and learning things and she gets pretty focused when there's food involved.  I hope that we can help her with her dog on dog nervousness. Really excited and I hope I'm not let down. I'll let y'all know what happens next week.

Halloween Plan's HELL YEAH! We actually have Halloween plans. Which means I get to wear a costume for the whole night! yahooo. Friends of ours are going to dinner and a show and invited us to come, so we're heading to ASIASF. What will I be,  you ask??? Well here you go:

Now I don't look anything like her, but i think i can pull this off! Gerry will be a robber or a cop. He hasn't decided yet! No i will not be wearing those boots. If i intend to walk around and go to work the next day, my boots will have to be flatter. Lucky for me I'm a boot hoarder.  oh I also bought a Little Red Riding Hood costume, because that's how i roll. Every year I buy two costumes, sometimes you just don't want to be what you thought you wanted to be....:)

You know what i did last night? I had a really nice time with my friend hanging out in my room. I almost felt like a teenager. We talked about all sorts of things and it was awesome to have a real conversation with a friend about dogs, politics, relationships, etc...That goes in my box of cherished memories.

Garage Sale this weekend and i fear I do not have enough stuff to sell! My neighbors/friends have TONS of stuff they got from family members. I have to dig through our basement and figure out what I want to sell! I need extra money this week. I don't want to use my credit cards for anything for awhile

Pawsitive Dog Story!

This is a great story. I love reading the beginning and then getting to the fairytale ending. You'll read about Scooter a dog used as a weapon or rather a threat during a mugging. This pitty was taken to a shelter when people noticed she wasn't aggressive. Read the rest of the story here Scooter gets a second chance, by becoming a retired nurses best friend and getting her Good Canine Citizen Award among other things. Nice heartwarming story.

Happy Halloween!!!

I love Halloween and it's here! I love the tricks, the treats, the scary, the funny ahhhh...My weekend didn't exactly turn out how i want it-when does it really? But it was good nonetheless. Had dinner with some friends, the Rangers lost of course (fuck), spent the day with Gerry yesterday, looked at Halloween stuff, watched a scary movie...etc....It turned out to be a good weekend.

this isn't me, but this is my costume. lol. I do have to upload Bella's costume. TOOOOO cute. I'll do it later tonight.

• Tonight's plans are dressing up-i guess i'm not getting out of my costume all day long-going to my old neighborhood where they do it up and then walking about with Bella in her costume downtown. Should be fun! No crazy partying over here.
• I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of November...which also is Dia de los Muertos. The holiday is meant to honor the deceased in one's family.  I believe it's a beautiful holiday because we all need to remember the people we've lost and maybe some of us don't believe in prayer or whatever but a day to honor their lives doesn't sound like a bad day. Death is a natural occurrence in life. 
• Well 24 more days until Turkey Day. 
• We don't get any trick or treaters. It is SO sad. 

I Hope whatever any one does tonight that they have a safe evening, remember to check your kids candy-don't eat all of it. Dress up and have a good time! lot's of love!
