Nope I didn't watch the debate....

I may need to watch next time...I cannot stand Romney. Seriously he gives me the heebe jeebies. He frightens me and I didn't want to break my television. I love my television. I found my entertainment in "Angel" the series and kept checking facebook. I could hear people online laughing at Romney. Anyway, he's a turd. But you people i don't care what party you vote for, make the right choice and VOTE! Here's a nifty little site that will tell you if you are registered, it's called Turbovote (thanks to my wonderful Purewow email I find out about a bunch of nifty things). They text you reminding you when it's time to vote and other voting related stuffs!

I tried a new recipe yesterday:  Fiesta Tamale Pie-Glad i could find it for you online, the receipe was in one of my new cookbooks i bought at a yard sale. The dish was pretty good! and actually very easy to make! I would add a bit of salt to the recipe-at the end and taste as you go-or add some hot sauce to the beef mixture for a bit of heat, since the cornmeal is very plain tasting it needs something to even itself out. Tonight is Asparagus Chicken. I'll let y'all know how it comes out. I didn't buy sesame oil because it was like 11 bucks. hehe, oh well...olive oil or vegetable oil it is....

Everyone has a friend that makes you want to hit their head on a wall repeatedly because their decisions sometimes are so bad they make you want to forget them. I have one of those friends...I feel bad for her. She's dating someone she shouldn't be. But I think she thinks she deserves to be treated badly. I often think back to my own relationships and I completely understand where she's coming from, but sometimes enough is enough...I can't watch this stuff and i have to be honest with her no matter what. Sometimes the best thing to do is be honest. Even if it hurts the other person. I am not a yes "man", I will tell you when you're being an arse.

 Pawsitive doggy story time

this is another story from the NY times it's amazing. I feel like wow, the military is really stepping up here and i feel super PROUD to be an american. Learning how to treat military dogs. Basically this story is about medics learning veterinary care for the dogs on the field. It's a pretty amazing story and while i read it, I teared up. I want to hug them for taking care of our humans AND dogs. Caring for both because they're fighting for our country...I may not be pro-war, but i am pro bringing our SOLDIERS HOME safe and alive. Summer is here....

Not sure about the rest of the country, but in California (especially Northern California) we are finally experiencing HEAT. Seriously, it's friggin hot outside. I live so close to San Fran that it's normally on the cool side and record heat is something we daydream about. I hadn't been to the beach this whole summer, because let's face it, the beach is like 20 degrees colder than where i live and I don't want to bring my sweatshirt and jeans to go hang out at the beach. After work yesterday, Bella and I were dreading our afternoon walk. I came home to that poor dog panting. Gerr called up and was like "let's go to the beach" my response "ok, but we have to be home before the Voice." Thank God for California beaches...Twas very nice and definitely refreshing.

I feel bad for my friend....she's dealing with a teenage son. Man...that's gotta be the caca's...Mom i'm sorry for being a shitty teenager....

kinda annoyed that the new No Doubt album isn't getting much air play. I haven't listened to the whole thing (need to put it on my ipod this week, already downloaded) but dude, it's No Doubt. I get it that Greenday's album came out at the same time, but uhm....hmmm...how do i say it nicely-it's EH at best. Not fabulous...AND HELLO??? what the f... Billie Joe is now advising Christina Aguilera's team on the Voice...ICK. 

I should have listened to my mom when she asked if i wanted a gift card from either ideeli or hautelook...yes yes i do...even though a giftcard to forever 21 is always welcome. :) and no it's not my birthday yet.

The A's and the Giants are now in the postseason...there may be a chance that I get a suite to see the A's and the Yankees if they play. I think i will probably have a heart attack if they play here in the post season and i'm dreading the giants and the yankees ever playing in the world series.....

Sometimes i see people on facebook and they "like" all of these cool pages and pictures, but they have no depth. They don't stand for anything. and i mean like nothing. comments like "woohoo going to get a burrito" or "i'm in so much pain, he broke up with me because i'm a bitch" you know..stuff like that...well get ready to get angry...I don't want to post the picture, but did you know that in certain countries and also in our own,  people are using dogs and cats as BAIT?  it's disgusting. and it's time for you to stand up for something. Sign a petition here. Don't sit there reading this and go Oh I'll do it later, bla bla bla...just do it. Stand up for something.

Ventee-Privee-i like this website. Think hautelook and ideeli BUT their clothing items seem to be a little more expensive. Today i saw some bakeware for HELL OF cheap. They're neat, i'd keep an eye on them and see what they get from time to time.

True & Co- want to buy bras online? Well, it's fun to look at, but the bra's are 45 bucks. I'm not a big fan of that, but it's good to keep your eye out when they have big sales like 2 for 1's or something.

Thrillist-I like this website a lot AND it's not just for the Bay Area. This site does have options for different parts of the country AND they even have an app for your phone! I get emails announcing new restaurants and bars. Definitely a must if you like checking out the next best thing!

Animal Rescue Site - this is the site you go on and when you click on the "click here" button you help raise food for animals! This site also has great animal stuffs.

Oh letting y'all know i got my julep maven penny order! I will let you know what i think about the actual nail polish, but i am not really that impressed with the size of the bottles.  They're skinny and thin not like the normal ones you buy at the store. Now the normal box comes with 40 bucks worth of products and the cost is 19.99. I only paid a penny for the 5 that i got, so I will first see how the polish looks and then i'll tell you if it's worth it when i get my box later this month!

I'm definitely going to need a positive dog story after this....3 dogs were murdered on Friday by the city council in Austin TX, due to a man beating one of the dogs so that he would get bitten. His dog was unleashed and started attacking this ladies dogs while she was TRAINING them. They were pitties, well trained and ON leash. Now they're gone while this ass hat roams free.

People LEASH YOUR DOGS.  I don't care if your dog is 10 years old and never hurt anyone, LEASH THEM. Yesterday i was at the beach with Bella, I had her on leash. This dog who was off leash started approaching us and i yelled "BACK". The guy looked pissed but i didn't care, I don't want your strange dogs near mine, so leash your dogs. Because if that shit above were to happen while I was around, that dude would have had my elbow to his nose and pepper spray in his eyes. Remember ladies, keys are always handy weapons too. I will protect what's mine and if that means i have to kick your dog, I will.

how about a video? Ever wonder how people save strays? Well this video is about a pitty living in a ditch. And the love and patience of her rescuers. Takes two hours and we get a 4 minute video. You can tell how scared she is and you feel her pain, but three people make it their mission to save this dog and to help her trust them. Made me tear up. Please watch and share.

Hey there Tuesday.

Temptation. It's everywhere, ain't it? Clothing, shoes, chocolate, purses etc....I am woman. Hear me shop...I didn't buy anything though. See this is what i do: I click the stuff i like and i add them to my basket. I look at almost everything on the Hautelook or Ideeli page and click click away, then I close the page. If i really want it, i'll go back to it. I'm still thinking about these flats though....I am pretty sure I have enough flats.....or at least I think I do....these are patent leather and they're 16 bucks...see:

ok ok...since i'm not feeling that tortured, sad feeling, I'll leave them alone, even if they do have them in black. I am pitiful, i admit it.

Today is my first day of my chronic pain class. It's like my first day of school. I can't forget a pencil and I already bought my workbook, because i'm anal like that. I had to have it right after I found out i was accepted into the program. I am looking forward to it. Wondering what I will learn today, what we'll go over, what the people will be like...My goal is to not let my Fibro own me. Crossing my fingers that all of this helps me. :)

Positive Doggy Story of the Day!!

Ok i remember reading about this. This story is about a deformed puppy in a plastic bag. The poor pup was in a garbage bag, luckily a kind soul asked some questions and took the pup. Poor pitty puppy couldn't lift his head or arms or anything. This story could have been cut short and the puppy could have been euthanized right away. Pretty much what happened is the puppy had a chance to live. With a lot of donated therapy this puppy is guess what a PUPPY!! I remember reading about this before I saw pictures of her running! we're going camping this weekend!!! So happy! i intend to relax, read, play with Bella in the water, enjoy the boat, and eat burgers, steaks, sausage, hot dogs...etc you know a real camping trip with meat and stuff...I'm not sure i ever told y'all about my bad camping experience with vegetarians. snobby vegetarians. I need re-energizing food when i'm camping and i'm sorry pretty vegetables you do not do the trick. But of course we will eat some veggies (just in case my mother is reading)....

3 day weekend yahoooo~

I am ecstatic. I am hoping that this weekend I can relax, exercise(not too much) and have a good time....I'm a bit stiff, but i'm hoping i can up the walking a bit more and be ok. All i know is i'm going to have a better weekend than the ones past, because people:my arm doesn't hurt anymore!!!! Now i'm just stiff in my neck and shoulders. I can work with that. My lower back, or hip area is a bit tender, but i think it's been all the walking i was doing this past week. sigh, i never want to to go through this again.

• deals deals deals...and i'm being stingy with my money which is a good thing. Too many shoes to choose from on ideeli. Jessica Simpson stuff is on sale there, hautelook has RVCA(which I friggin love) but no tshirts-which i really like much better than their dresses...Hautelook also has bikinis that look like underwear on sale...shrug, not a fan. 

 These are super cute!!! they're on sale on hautelook...remember the sales only last for 3 days. They have a favorite shoes sale which means BCBG generation is also included...the above are Matisse and are 50% off.

• Ok you know when you have the heater on and you have your ipod speakers on low and you're trying to hear what music is playing but you're at work and you don't want to blast the damn things...anyway, so I could have sworn i was listening to the black eyed peas, i checked and it was florence and the machine....next i thought i was listening to the Gorillaz and it was really Dr Dre. ha. whatever...it's funny. laugh.Ok this one was hilarious...i thought i was listening to Owl City and it was Taylor Swift!! hahahahaha.
• I know i haven't mentioned the Voice this season...well i am watching it...I actually look forward to Monday's for that purpose. lol. I can't wait until the teams are completed and we can get this show goin!!!!
• A friend of mine at work reminded me that the Academy of Arts has Adult thursday nights...now i know it sounds naughty, but it's called that for adults to go only, no kids allowed. They serve wine and stuff and you get to have fun and be the kid in the museum! So need to do this!
• I have mommy guilt. I haven't called my mother in a while and the last couple of times we video chatted i was just too tired. Pain wipes you out man...must call the mom this weekend. 
• My marin county friends! Living social deal 35 bucks for massage, acupuncture! wow...
• ok...Learn how to make a perfect french omelete here it's a video and the omelet looks like its rolled and delicious and i will need to check this out when i get home!!!

ahhh, it's thursday! which means payday, which means one more day CLOSER to the weekend. ahhhh. Already spent a little more than half of my paycheck on paying some bills, I feel accomplished. I also feel like i can't buy anything for a loooooong time. I need to pay off my credit card bill, especially if i want to buy a house next year...Why do i get all scared just at the thought of that???? it's a good scary feeling for sure, because the space we live in now is TINY! sigh...

• There are some really cute Sue Wong dresses on Ideeli. Some have feathers and stuff and wouldn't be my thing, but the other ones are pretty cute. The last couple of days i've spilled coffee on myself and I don't know how to clean feathers.....i'd probably ruin the dress.  There are other very pretty dresses on there...but I DO NOT SHOP!!! And yeah for all Alexander McQueen fans-sunglasses are on sale too!

• Ok my pants are too tight. and yes if i were wearing a tight shirt I would have a muffin top. My butt looks great in these jeans (i bought them off ideeli) but for some reason, the waist is effing tight. fits perfect EVERYWHERE. Why don't they make consistent sizes???? why????? Well I'm wearing them and dealing with it. Also i've covered the top area so you can't tell there's any muffinness going on. hahaha

And are you aware how many people visit state parks? In the San Francisco area we are bombarded with tourists. Many of these tourists rent bicycles and ride to nearby parks in the Marin County area and San Francisco. THIS GENERATES MONEY!!! Someone knock him off his rocker and tie him down. His stupid idea about changing Hayden's law and protecting animals entering shelters, makes me very very angry.

Well, I am if you're not. I'm not really a football person, but I'm down to watch if I'm with friends and there's pizza involved and our wonderfully comfy couch. We're ordering too much pizza because thankfully Extreme Pizza loves me enough to give me a coupon for 50% off 50 bucks. Can you see the smile on my face???? Pizza means smiles!

Well today i get an email from Outback, i clicked it, unsubscribed to it but realized as I was about to close the page that they have a "your profile" link. Really??? You can create a profile at a Outback Steakhouses website. Like a dating site? Like share your love of steak? Meet other people in your area to share a bloomin onion or whatever it's called....very interesting.

•  Last night we all hung out talking about astigmatisms.   But what is astigmatism you ask? It is a refractive error of the eye which causes blurred vision. Think of like part of the eye has a sort of dent to it and the light comes through and bends oddily leaving your vision a bit blurred. That's how i've understood it anyway. My eyes are blessed with these.. My friends stumbled on some cool eye tests which you can take right here....lol. have fun.

Darn tootin. I can't pass it up, you shouldn't either.
